The Department of Pathology of Sanya Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has always adhered to putting medical quality at the center,is committed to improving the level of pathological diagnosis,and takes providing clinicians and patients with precise pathological diagnoses as its guiding principle.The department is equipped with an Olympus high-definition microscope,a fully automatic dehydrator,a paraffin microtome,an embedding instrument and a slide spreader and other equipment.The projects carried out include(1),biopsy:all surgical specimens,including puncture tissues from all parts of the body,organ specimens and specimens from fiber optic gastroscopy,colonoscopy.(2),liquid-based thin-layer cytology diagnostic technology(TCT)and the TBS reporting system,this service plays an important role in diagnosing early cervical cancer in women.(3),exfoliative cytopathological diagnostic technology,including cytological testing of body fluids such as pleural and ascitic fluids,sputum,urine and other body fluids,which helps patients detect pathological changes in tumor cells with less trauma.
