Before the examination, rest adequately, eat lightly and avoid sweets and greasy foods. Women should avoid menstruation and the 3 days before and after it. Bring glasses if needed, relevant records and medication details for major illness, surgery or ongoing treatment, previous chest X-rays for tuberculosis, and the original passport; call if the passport is at the embassy.
