Medical Psychology
In the context of advancing the Healthy China initiative, advocating healthy lifestyles, and strengthening mental health services, the Department of Psychiatry of Peking University People's Hospital was established and renamed the Department of Medical Psychology in 2022. Our department combines on-site registration with appointment registration and follows a treatment principle that combines pharmacological treatment with non-pharmacological treatment (psychotherapy), providing professional, systematic, and continuous medical services for the many people troubled by emotional, psychological, sleep, memory, and other problems. The main scope of diagnosis and treatment includes: sleep problems such as insomnia, emotional problems such as depression, anxiety, neuroses, cognitive disorders, and so on.
