Nephrology

The Nephrology Department at Peking University International Hospital builds on and develops the academic strengths of the Peking University Health Science Center system. It integrates clinical care, teaching, and research; focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases and related research; and aligns its work with international practice. The department includes a Blood Purification Center and several specialty clinics. Its equipment includes hemodialysis machines, bedside hemodiafiltration machines, and automated peritoneal dialysis machines to support high-quality treatment. Professor Yu Feng leads the team, with Ding Jiaxiang and nationally renowned expert Professor Wang Mei serving as a consultant. The department has a strong team. The department aims to become a leading center in China for kidney-disease care and research and to provide comprehensive, professional care.
