Medical Oncology

The Department of Medical Oncology integrates medical care, teaching, and research. It is designated as the Clinical Education Base of the Pain Management Academy of the China Anti-Cancer Association, the Demonstration Base for Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment of Refractory Pain of the China Cancer Hospital Alliance, and the Watson International Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment Center. The department has a well-developed talent structure and comprehensive hardware facilities, and its precision molecular testing and targeted therapy platform, comprehensive immunotherapy platform, consultation platform for difficult and complex cases, multidisciplinary oncology diagnosis and treatment platform, translational research platform for new drugs, and minimally invasive oncology treatment platform, jointly developed with renowned cancer centers abroad and national key laboratories, are aligned with the latest international diagnostic and treatment concepts. The department has undertaken multiple national- and provincial/ministerial-level scientific research projects. Its members have published more than 100 monographs and papers in professional journals in China and abroad and have received nearly 10 National and Military Science and Technology Progress Awards and Medical Achievement Awards.
