Rheumatology and Immunology
The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology mainly diagnoses and treats various rheumatic and immune diseases and immune-related difficult and complicated diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren’s syndrome, ankylosing spondylitis/spondyloarthritis, gout, osteoarthritis, systemic vasculitis, inflammatory myopathies, scleroderma, and screening for difficult-to-determine causes of fever/joint pain and other difficult and complicated diseases. The department adheres to the chronic disease management philosophy of “standardized diagnosis and treatment, precision medication, and long-term follow-up,” and combines clinical assessment with laboratory/imaging examinations to conduct stratified diagnosis and treatment and efficacy monitoring, thereby formulating individualized treatment plans. Medication education, disease self-management, and follow-up guidance are provided to patients to improve long-term adherence and quality of life.
