Library, Information and Reference Materials Room

The Library and Information Materials Room (Library), with the rapid development of the hospital (research institute), has now become a specialized medical library whose collection focuses mainly on oncology-related holdings. It is the hospital's center for medical information resources and services, providing the hospital's clinical physicians, research personnel, graduate students, trainees undertaking further study, and other readers with professional medical information resources and information services to meet the information needs of clinical care and basic research. The library currently has six staff members and, as one of the member libraries of the Peking University Library system and the Peking University Health Science Center Library system, has launched a system-wide book borrowing and return service, enabling readers to borrow and return books held by all affiliated member libraries in the system without leaving the hospital. Other information services provided by the library include interlibrary loan, article indexing and citation searches, research project consultation, etc. Its research focus is the statistics and analysis of academic literature. In 2025, with the strong support of the hospital leadership, the library established an academic literature analysis and management system for the hospital's experts and scholars, systematically analyzing and organizing all of the hospital's literature outputs and providing data support for the hospital's research management.
