International Cooperation and Exchange Department

The Department of International Cooperation and Exchange is the hospital’s administrative and service department responsible for implementing international and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan policies, and handling and coordinating external exchange and cooperation affairs. It is primarily responsible for organizing, supporting, and managing international exchange and cooperation throughout the hospital, and promoting improvements in the hospital’s medical care, education, and research standards and international reputation.

Its specific responsibilities include:

Implementing relevant policies, guidelines, rules, and regulations concerning foreign affairs work issued by higher-level authorities; formulating hospital-level international cooperation and exchange plans and supervising their implementation; expanding cooperative relationships between the hospital and overseas oncology-related institutions for medical care, education, and research; organizing and coordinating hospital-level international exchange activities, including reception of foreign guests, foreign-related academic activities, and cooperation negotiations; assisting in the establishment and implementation of international cooperation projects; being responsible for the application and management of temporary official travel abroad (or to Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) by hospital employees, invitations for overseas personnel to visit China, international cooperation, and the hosting of international conferences; providing support services for departments in conducting international cooperation and exchange; and communicating with higher-level departments responsible for external cooperation, among other duties.
