The Department of Stomatology was established in 1995，and currently has 2 dental chairs，1 physician，and 2 nurses。It mainly serves oncology patients and employees of this hospital。The department provides related treatment for various oral diseases in the fields of conservative dentistry and endodontics，periodontics，oral surgery，prosthodontics，pediatric dentistry，and oral mucosal diseases。For many years，it has been committed to the prevention and treatment of oral diseases in oncology patients and to providing health guidance。It safeguards cancer treatment and improves the quality of life of oncology patients。The main diseases treated include：1、Oral preparation before radiotherapy for head and neck malignancies，and prevention and treatment of complications during and after radiotherapy；2、Oral preparation before chemotherapy for oncology patients，and treatment of xerostomia and mucositis occurring during chemotherapy；3、Oral preparation before surgery for patients with head and neck，pharyngeal，laryngeal，esophageal，thoracic，and other diseases；4、Oral preparation before stem cell transplantation for patients in the Department of Lymphohematology/Transplantation Immunology；5、Oral intervention before the use of antiresorptive drugs in oncology patients with bone metastases，prevention of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw，and treatment of stage I and stage II medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw；6、Prevention，treatment，and follow-up of oral diseases during the treatment and rehabilitation periods of oncology patients；7、Oral healthcare education and guidance for oncology patients。
