Baihui Medical’s Department of Cardiology can diagnose and treat the following conditions: coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, including acute myocardial infarction; hypertension/refractory hypertension; dyslipidemia; pregnancy-related cardiovascular diseases; congenital heart disease in adults and children; palpitations and arrhythmias; heart failure; valvular heart disease; various cardiomyopathies; pulmonary arterial hypertension; and pulmonary embolism. We provide postoperative cardiac care and pacemaker/defibrillator programming. At the same time, we provide a variety of noninvasive diagnostic services, such as: transthoracic echocardiography (ECHO), including tissue Doppler imaging; transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography under sedation; exercise stress testing; 24-hour electrocardiographic monitoring; ambulatory blood pressure monitoring; coronary CT angiography (CTA); cardiac MRI; and the tilt-table test. Baihui Medical collaborates with Zhongshan Hospital, Ruijin Hospital, Dongfang Hospital, and Shanghai First People’s Hospital to provide patients with various cardiac interventional treatments and cardiac surgeries, including but not limited to: coronary angiography, coronary intervention, electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablation, pacemaker implantation, coronary artery bypass grafting, corrective surgery for congenital heart disease, aortic surgery, and heart valve surgery. Our cardiologists work closely with registered dietitians, sports medicine specialists, physical therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to promote cardiovascular health through multidisciplinary collaborative care.
