Boao Evergrande International Hospital is a private tertiary oncology specialty hospital in the Boao Lecheng pilot zone, opened on 28 February 2018 and designed to JCI standards with guidance from Brigham and Women's Hospital (Harvard Medical School teaching hospital). Phase one has 223 single-room inpatient beds plus a 424-bed care/rehabilitation building. Its international medical service arranges remote consultations — including second opinions with pathology and imaging review — with US medical institutions.

Boao Super Hospital is a state-holding tertiary general hospital and the first hospital to open in the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, operating since 31 March 2018 with 150 open beds. It runs a '1+X' shared-platform model hosting 23 academician- and expert-led clinical teams, and has introduced 189 licensed drugs and devices (特许药械) approved abroad but not yet registered in mainland China.
