Children's Follow-up Center

The Child Follow-up Center is a newly established professional department integrating care and research under Academician Huang Hefeng's team. It is guided by senior child-health experts and staffed by pediatricians of associate-senior rank or above. It has standardized growth and body-measurement instruments, hearing-screening, bone-strength, nutrition and body-composition analyzers, and intelligence tools including Wechsler, Gesell, DST and the 20-item neonatal behavior assessment. The center provides long-term physical and neuropsychological development follow-up, nutrition assessment/intervention and mental-health care for children conceived with assisted reproduction, premature or twin infants and newborns delivered at the hospital, promoting comprehensive development.
