Second Outpatient Department

The Second Outpatient Department of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School (Nanjing Stomatological Hospital) was established on January 25, 1994. On December 28, 2009, it relocated to the first floor of Shengtian Building, No. 239 Zhongshan South Road, next to Zhangfuyuan Station on Metro Line 1. The medical premises cover more than 400 square meters. It is a modern, comfortable, welcoming, and high-end dental outpatient department. It offers a comprehensive range of dental medical services and has strong technical expertise, with 1 chief physician, 3 associate chief physicians, 6 attending physicians, 3 resident physicians, and 1 dental hygienist. All medical and nursing personnel are selected and seconded from the main hospital of Nanjing Stomatological Hospital; they have extensive clinical experience and outstanding medical expertise. The outpatient department’s registration and billing systems are connected to those of the headquarters, with unified fee standards, and it is a designated medical institution for provincial- and municipal-level publicly funded medical care and medical insurance. Imported disinfection equipment has been introduced, and, in strict accordance with the standards of the National Health Commission, the outpatient department implements “one person, one handpiece” and “one person, one use, one disinfection,” effectively preventing cross-infection in dental care.
