1. Basic information: The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology was established in 2013. It is a medical and nursing team composed of rheumatology specialists that pursues rigor, standardization, pragmatism, and good medical ethics and professional conduct, and continues to grow and strengthen. The department has a good collaborative relationship with the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of Renji Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. 2. Bed capacity: It currently has 8 beds. 3. Personnel: There are currently 3 medical personnel, including 1 chief physician, 1 attending physician, and 1 resident physician. 4. Clinical specialties: Our hospital is equipped with a variety of testing equipment, which can provide strong ancillary diagnostic and treatment support for the early diagnosis of patients with rheumatic diseases. The department studies the diagnosis and treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis, Sjögren syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), polymyositis, dermatomyositis, ankylosing spondylitis, mixed connective tissue disease, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, primary gout, panniculitis, erythema nodosum, Behçet disease, Takayasu arteritis, polyarteritis nodosa, giant cell arteritis, granulomatosis with polyangiitis, microscopic polyangiitis, eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis, sarcoidosis, primary antiphospholipid syndrome, autoimmune liver disease, polymyalgia rheumatica, relapsing polychondritis, fibromyalgia syndrome, eosinophilic fasciitis, adult-onset Still’s disease, IgG-4-related disease, and interstitial lung lesions associated with rheumatic diseases, among others. 5. Research and teaching: The department undertakes clinical internships for Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Soochow University, Jiangsu University, and Xuzhou Medical College, as well as standardized training for our hospital, secondary hospitals in the park, and primary-level hospitals.
