Orthopedic Surgery Ward IX
Orthopedic Surgery Ward 9 comprehensively provides stepwise treatment for the hip and knee joints. 1. Reasonably provide hip-preserving treatment (such as core decompression) and knee-preserving treatment (high tibial osteotomy HTO, distal femoral osteotomy DFO, unicompartmental replacement), bringing minimally invasive and effective treatment to the majority of patients; 2. Use improved minimally invasive hip and knee arthroplasty to treat complex primary joint replacements, such as those for osteoarthritis, femoral head necrosis, developmental dysplasia of the hip, sequelae of suppurative hip arthritis, traumatic arthritis, severe varus or valgus knee deformity, and flexion-extension deformities; 3. For autoimmune or special types of arthritis, such as ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, hemophilic arthropathy, systemic lupus erythematosus and adult Still’s disease, use a multidisciplinary MDT and improve patients’ motor function through arthroplasty, with comprehensive lifelong treatment to improve quality of life; 4. A green channel for femoral neck and intertrochanteric fractures in elderly patients, followed by standardized anti-osteoporosis treatment; 5. Distinctive use of 3D-printed personalized osteotomy guides (PSI) for precise osteotomy; 6. Complex secondary hip and knee revision arthroplasty and reconstructive surgery, independent design of tumor-type joint prostheses, and application of metal 3D-printed prostheses; 7. Internal fixation and revision treatment of periprosthetic fractures; 8. Diagnosis and treatment of endemic diseases, such as Kashin-Beck disease; 9. For small-joint dysfunction, improve function through reverse shoulder arthroplasty, elbow arthroplasty, ankle arthroplasty, radial head replacement and other procedures. 10. Perform arthroscopic surgery and minimally invasive treatment of meniscal injuries, cartilage injuries, anterior and posterior cruciate ligament injuries of the knee, collateral ligament injuries, rotator cuff injuries and other diseases.
The department has a domestically leading digital orthopedics technology team, has received multiple national patents, and applies extensive digital technology to support precision orthopedics. Through digital technologies such as finite element analysis, gait analysis, three-dimensional reconstruction, AR/VR/MR technology, 3D printing technology, computer-assisted navigation technology, artificial intelligence and robotic surgery, it assists in total hip, total knee, partial unicompartmental and bicompartmental joint arthroplasty, as well as hip and knee revision arthroplasty. This is guiding clinical diagnosis and treatment in joint surgery toward precision, personalization and intelligence, achieving greater surgical accuracy, shorter operating times, smaller surgical incisions and reduced surgical risk, and providing patients with higher-quality services.
