Songbei – Dentistry Department

The Department of Stomatology at the Songbei Campus of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University was established in 2015. The dental outpatient clinic mainly diagnoses and treats various diseases of the teeth, dental pulp, and periodontium, and provides orthodontic, restorative, tooth-extraction, and other related services. Imported light-cured resin, glass ionomer, and other materials are used to restore various dental defects. Dental cleaning and subgingival scaling have achieved significant results. For the restoration of defective or missing teeth, the department provides removable porcelain-fused-to-metal dentures, all-ceramic crowns, zirconium dioxide restorations, fiber posts, and other prosthetic treatments. In orthodontics, the department continuously improves and refines the use of various treatment methods and appliances. The department provides scientific and systematic diagnosis and treatment for patients with temporomandibular joint disorders. It mainly manages temporomandibular joint dysfunction and develops treatment plans centered on occlusal therapy to restore normal physiological function of the joint. It also provides occlusal adjustment after joint disorders, post-and-core crown restorations, fixed bridge prostheses, removable partial dentures, complete dentures, and other treatments.
