Songbei – Dermatology Department

The Department of Dermatology of the Songbei Campus of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University has developed distinctive diagnostic and treatment techniques for common, frequently occurring, and complex, difficult-to-treat dermatological diseases. It also provides specialized diagnostic and treatment services, including dermatologic surgery, dermatological photoelectric therapy, and anti-aging cosmetic treatments. Non-invasive or minimally invasive treatment methods are used to restore skin health. The department is equipped with internationally and domestically advanced photoelectric treatment devices and is dedicated to relieving patients of the suffering caused by skin diseases and restoring healthy skin.

Under the leadership of Director Liu Bingmei, the department has distinctive treatment methods for common, frequently occurring, and complex, difficult-to-treat diseases. It provides specialized diagnostic and treatment services for vitiligo, psoriasis, comprehensive treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of pigmentary disorders, specialized treatment of alopecia areata, and immunotherapy for flat warts, common warts, and other conditions. An acne treatment center has been established to provide comprehensive treatment, including red and blue light therapy, photon acne treatment, and chemical peels. Dermatologic surgery includes operations for various benign and malignant skin tumors (including pigmented nevi, seborrheic keratoses, hemangiomas, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, etc.), as well as diseases of the nails. Medical cosmetology services include glycolic acid/salicylic acid peels, photorejuvenation, skin booster injections, freckle removal, wrinkle reduction, facial anti-aging treatments, scar repair, treatment of bromhidrosis, hyperhidrosis, and other services. The department has the world's latest-generation M22 AOPT intense pulsed light treatment system, non-ablative/ablative fractional laser treatment systems, Q-switched Nd:YAG laser treatment systems, carbon dioxide laser treatment systems, red and blue light treatment systems, and 308nm excimer light therapy. It also provides liquid nitrogen cryotherapy, fungal testing, dermoscopy, and traditional Chinese medicine fire-needle treatment.
