Achievements and Honors
Two new technologies pioneered:
1. A new technology using the “penetrating needling swallowing acupuncture method” to treat post-stroke dysphagia, which received the Heilongjiang Province Medical and Health New Technology Application Award! It solved the problem of the pharyngeal phase of dysphagia!
2. The oral-phase swallowing acupuncture method for oral-phase dysphagia: for example, inability of the tongue to move within the mouth, incomplete closure of the upper and lower jaws leaving a large amount of saliva, inability to chew food, and choking when drinking water. The therapeutic effect is significant.
3. A new technology using the “facial-correction needling method” to treat intractable facial paralysis, which received the Heilongjiang Province Medical and Health New Technology Application Award! It addresses facial asymmetry after facial paralysis, incomplete eye closure, inability to open the eyes, and inability of the frontal muscle to elevate! It also addresses facial spasm, facial synkinesis, and facial distortion after facial paralysis! The clinical results are significant and have received high praise from patients!
4. The new “back-extensor antagonist needling method” technology received the Heilongjiang Province Medical and Health New Technology Application Award! It is primarily aimed at precise treatment of the paralyzed hand, enabling the patient to hold a pen and write!
5. Acupuncture is effective in treating postoperative urinary retention!
6. Acupuncture is highly effective in treating rhinitis!
7. Acupuncture is effective in treating chronic fatigue syndrome!
8. Acupuncture is effective in treating emotional disorders!
9. Chinese herbal medicine is effective in regulating examination-related nervousness in students preparing for the middle-school entrance examination and the national college entrance examination, including low mood, irritability, poor sleep, headache, tightness in the head, and neck discomfort!
10. Combined acupuncture and medication are effective in treating tinnitus and deafness!
