Brief Introduction to the Department:

The Department of Geriatric Neurology is a key clinical department of our hospital that integrates medical care, teaching, and scientific research. It has strong technical capabilities. The department places great emphasis on talent development and sends doctors outside the hospital each year for further training and study in order to keep abreast of advanced treatment concepts. It has accumulated extensive experience in dizziness and headache, cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, intracranial infections, and other areas. For many years, the department has consistently ranked first hospital-wide in the number of thrombolysis cases. Thanks to our hospital’s professional collaboration with Beijing Tiantan Hospital and Xuanwu Hospital, our department has also made a qualitative leap in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and severe neurological conditions. Medical Staff Composition: There are currently 7 physicians: 3 chief physicians, 2 associate chief physicians, and 2 attending physicians; all 7 hold master’s degrees, including 1 who is currently pursuing a doctoral degree.
