General Practice
Heilongjiang Provincial Hospital’s Department of General Practice was established in March 2019. It is a key specialty in Harbin, a departmental-level echelon of leading talent, and the province’s earliest general-practice model department to be independently established in a Grade III Class A general hospital, integrating “medical care–teaching–research–prevention.” The department has 30 operational beds and is equipped with a dedicated teaching room, teaching outpatient clinic, and assessment room, allowing inpatient and outpatient teaching to be conducted simultaneously.
Medical features: The department provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for common and frequently occurring diseases, chronic disease management, multimorbidity, and undifferentiated diseases. It offers individualized health examinations, health education, rehabilitation guidance, psychological support, and comprehensive geriatric assessment.
Teaching strength: The department currently has 3 chief physicians, 1 associate chief physician, 3 attending physicians, and 1 resident physician; all hold qualifications to practice general medicine. Relying on Heilongjiang Provincial Hospital’s Grade III Class A general practice specialty base, it implements a joint “clinical + primary care” approach and is committed to training outstanding general-practice professionals for primary care in Heilongjiang.
