Gastroenterology

Gastroenterology is one of the subspecialties of our hospital’s provincial-level key discipline and a Hangzhou municipal-level clinical key specialty (2026–2030).

The department currently has 2 chief physicians, 4 associate chief physicians, 3 attending physicians, and 3 resident physicians.

Guided by the modern medical philosophy of “precision and minimally invasive treatment,” Gastroenterology has developed distinctive expertise in areas such as “portal hypertension, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, gastric and intestinal diseases, and early digestive tract cancer.” After more than a decade of rigorous preparation and development, the department has produced a group of young and mid-career clinical experts who possess “high moral standards and superb medical skills,” and it has the capacity to provide high-quality services to “the broader specialty and patients from surrounding areas.”
