Laboratory Medicine
The hospital has established a laboratory center comprising the Department of Laboratory Medicine and an open laboratory. Each laboratory has clearly defined, independent responsibilities and divisions of work, and testing items must not be duplicated. The hospital laboratory department includes outpatient and emergency testing (clinical testing), clinical chemistry (biochemistry), clinical immunology, clinical molecular biology (PCR), and transfusion medicine (blood bank) groups.
Location: The laboratory center is on the third floor of the comprehensive building (Building 1), with an area of approximately 1,600 square meters; the laboratory department occupies approximately 1,100 square meters.
Staffing: The department currently has 41 health professionals, including three with full senior, seven with associate senior, 17 with intermediate and 13 with junior professional titles. They include one doctoral-level postgraduate, ten master’s-level postgraduates, six laboratory physicians and one nurse. Together they form a high-level team and a comprehensive medical laboratory integrating clinical care, teaching and research.
