The Department of Dentistry at Hangzhou Xixi Hospital currently has eight professional physicians, one assistant and two nurses. Among them are one person with a doctorate and three with master’s degrees; two are associate chief physicians, four are attending physicians and two are resident physicians. The department has nine dental chairs and equipment including an intraoral X-ray unit, CBCT scanner, dental 3D printer, dental operating microscope, ultrasonic bone-cutting device, teeth-whitening device and thermoplastic gutta-percha root canal treatment equipment. It routinely treats common dental conditions, including implant-supported restoration of missing teeth, minimally invasive aesthetic ceramic and resin restorations, early functional orthodontic treatment for children, orthodontic treatment of malocclusion in adults, and minimally invasive extraction of complex impacted teeth.
