The Department of Stomatology of Hangzhou First People's Hospital is a national standardized residency training base for general dentistry. It has subspecialties including oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental implantology, prosthodontics and orthodontics, periodontology and mucosal diseases, and comprehensive dentistry. It performs surgical treatment of various tumors of the oral, maxillofacial, and neck regions, as well as reconstructive repair of postoperative soft- and hard-tissue defects caused by malignant tumors of the maxillofacial and neck regions. It is one of the earliest departments in the province to introduce implant technology, enjoys a high reputation and influence in the province's dental implant community, and widely provides various restorative methods for dental hard-tissue defects, dentition defects and tooth loss, as well as sequential periodontal treatment, standardized systematic treatment of oral mucosal diseases, and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment.
