Clinical Psychology
The Department of Clinical Psychology was established in 2001 and currently has 2 chief physicians, 3 associate chief physicians, 3 attending physicians, 2 resident physicians, 2 psychological counselors, and 10 staff members with master's degrees. The ward is an open ward, and has one Morita therapy room and one patient activity hall. Patients are hospitalized for treatment on a voluntary basis. Conditions treated include schizophrenia, mood disorders (mania, depressive disorders, dysthymic disorder), neuroses (obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, phobias, etc.), and alcohol and drug dependence, etc. The open ward provides patients with a relatively relaxed activity space and an environment and conditions closer to real life, and patients enjoy more freedom and respect.
