One of the first medical key disciplines in Hangzhou, one of the regional specialty centers for ophthalmic diseases in Zhejiang Province, and a center for the treatment of eye diseases in Hangzhou. The department currently has 9 chief physicians, 8 associate chief physicians, 3 physicians with doctoral degrees, and 1 expert who receives the State Council Special Allowance and is among Zhejiang Province’s young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions. Professor Wang Jianhua of the Bascom Palmer Eye Center, the No. 1-ranked ophthalmology hospital in the United States, is the department’s “Qianjiang Specially Appointed Expert”. 31 beds. Outpatient services are available Monday to Sunday, with 24-hour emergency care.
