Electrocardiography Department

The Department of Electrocardiographic Function of Hangzhou First People's Hospital, affiliated with the School of Medicine of Westlake University, is one of the most influential electrocardiology teams in Zhejiang Province, with 16 physicians, including 5 with senior professional and technical titles, 6 with intermediate professional and technical titles, and 6 with master's degrees; the team has published more than 50 Category Ⅰ and Ⅱ papers at the provincial level and has led and successfully completed 2 projects of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission, 2 projects of the Hangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and 1 project of the Zhejiang Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As one of the rotation departments of the standardized internal medicine training base, it completes the standardized training of more than 80 trainees each year. The hospital attaches great importance to the development of the electrocardiology discipline; with the support of the hospital Party Committee, it has not only various advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment, but also a team with distinctive professional characteristics, strong technical capabilities, and unity and collaboration, and the department's technology is at the forefront in multiple fields, including conventional electrocardiography, ambulatory electrocardiography, exercise stress testing, and noninvasive cardiac electrophysiology.
