Child Health Care and Health Management Center The Child Health Care and Health Management Center of Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center has continuously fulfilled the public health functions of maternal and child health care in Guangzhou, as well as child health service functions such as multidisciplinary collaborative clinical health care for early childhood development, integrating medical care, health care, prevention, scientific research, and teaching. It has carried out various routine and special programs, including health monitoring and health management, for the health of children aged 0–6 years throughout the city. In child health monitoring and intervention, projects including the full-process refined management of high-risk children during the perinatal period, monitoring of accidental injuries in children, nutrition management of children in group settings, citywide systematic management assessment of high-risk children, the three-tier network collaborative management platform for neonatal jaundice, and the first lesson in scientific parenting for families have achieved remarkable results. In 2018, it obtained two major platforms, namely the "National Demonstration Base for Early Childhood Development" and the "Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for the Application of Early Childhood Development," becoming a major force in promoting early childhood development in the region. Building on this foundation, as a member institution of the Clinical Research Alliance for High-Quality Child Development of the National Clinical Research Center, it has actively established strategic cooperation alliances in medical and health care with the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, certain regions of Guangdong Province, and the three-tier maternal and child health care network of Guangzhou; established the Provincial Early Childhood Development Alliance; participated in major projects of the brain science programs of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou through projects such as the "Maternal and Infant Health Plan," "High-Risk Child Management," "Smart Healthy Kindergartens," "Childcare for Children Aged 0–3," and "Network Monitoring of Neonatal Jaundice"; and advanced medical and health care, scientific research, and product transformation in parallel through both horizontal and vertical integration, promoting the healthy growth of children in the region.
