Prenatal Anesthesia Clinic To give expectant mothers a better experience of painless childbirth, Guangzhou United Family Hospital provides a Prenatal Anesthesia Clinic. This enables expectant mothers to learn in advance and consider whether labor analgesia is needed and whether their physical condition is suitable for labor analgesia, thereby maximizing the possibility of safe and comfortable childbirth.

Anesthesiologists can learn about your physical condition in advance, including relevant medical history, surgical status, history of surgery and anesthesia, allergy history, and medication-use history.

You can consult in advance and learn about labor analgesia, make adequate psychological preparations, effectively alleviate tension and anxiety before anesthesia, and help improve the safety of labor analgesia.

Midwife Clinic A midwife is a nurse who can independently conduct deliveries and care for women in childbirth. Midwives are familiar with every change during labor and need to handle various situations arising from sudden changes in the labor process. Therefore, a midwife's technical proficiency and practical skills bear on the safety of the mother and infant. A midwife with many years of experience has experience no less than that of an obstetrician-gynecologist and is, in the truest sense, a guardian and partner for the woman in childbirth.

Nutrition Clinic To strengthen nutrition management during pregnancy and childbirth, safeguard maternal and infant safety, and prevent and reduce the occurrence of nutrition-related complications, our Department of Obstetrics has established a Nutrition Clinic. It helps expectant mothers eat appropriately, scientifically control gestational weight, prevent and reduce the occurrence of nutritional and metabolic diseases during pregnancy, provides nutritional assessment and intervention for expectant mothers at nutritional risk during pregnancy, and offers individualized nutrition monitoring and recommendations.

An expectant mother with a previous diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), or who has been diagnosed with GDM in the current pregnancy 3.
