Department Introduction: The Second Department of Cardiology is a clinical department integrating clinical care, research, teaching and rehabilitation for cardiovascular diseases. It comprises a general ward, a coronary heart disease intensive care unit (CCU), a remote electrocardiogram diagnosis center and other functional areas, with more than 1,000 interventional diagnosis and treatment cases annually, and has considerable influence in South China. The Second Department of Cardiovascular Medicine uses interventional equipment to perform various minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures.
