【Overview】 The Pharmacy Department of the Dade Road General Hospital of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine is a professional technical service department integrating hospital pharmaceutical services, teaching, research, and management. It is responsible for pharmacy administration, drug procurement and supply, prescription review, drug dispensing, drug quality, rational medication management, pharmacy personnel training, and pharmaceutical research for the Dade Road General Hospital campus. The department includes a prescription review room, outpatient traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy, outpatient western medicine pharmacy, inpatient central pharmacy, inpatient traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy, intravenous medication preparation center, drug warehouse, traditional Chinese medicine decoction room, extemporaneous preparation room, smart pharmacy, pricing and cashier office, and other departments. High-quality traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces. The department has established a scientific and effective quality management system for traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces and formulated acceptance standards. Starting with pharmacists stationed at manufacturing plants, strict and standardized whole-process management is implemented at every internal circulation stage, including drug acceptance, warehousing, storage, maintenance, release from storage, dispensing, distribution, use, and supervision, ensuring that the traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces used clinically are high-quality and safe. 2. Intelligent pharmacy management. The department is equipped with an intelligent pharmacist prescription-review intervention system, an intelligent rational-medication monitoring system, intelligent drug dispensing machines, intelligent drug delivery machines, intelligent verification machines, intelligent labeling machines, intelligent sorting machines, intelligent medicine shelves, intelligent interactive transfer medicine cabinets, fully automatic tablet packaging machines, and a series of other intelligent devices. These achieve closed-loop management of drug information, improve the safety and work efficiency of drug circulation within the hospital, reduce the risk of medication errors, and improve the quality of rational medication use. 3. Lean pharmaceutical services.
