The Department of Dermatology and Venereology of Guangdong Provincial Women and Children's Hospital has outpatient clinics at the Panyu, Yuexiu, and Tianhe campuses. It has a highly qualified professional team with strong technical expertise, currently comprising 10 specialist physicians and a strong team of master's- and doctoral-level professionals, with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating skin diseases in adults, infants and young children, pregnant and postpartum women, and older adults. 1、The diseases diagnosed and treated include: common, uncommon, and refractory skin diseases, including allergic, infectious, communicable, hereditary, immune-related skin diseases, and skin tumors. 2、The examinations performed include: dermoscopy, dermatopathological examination, fungal microscopy and culture, Wood's lamp examination, immunological examinations, gonococcal culture, Chlamydia and Mycoplasma culture + antimicrobial susceptibility testing, syphilis and AIDS serological examinations, human papillomavirus (HPV) testing, herpes simplex virus isolation and serological examination, and serum allergen testing. 3、The treatments performed include:●Chemical peeling: treatment of acne, improvement of acne marks, dullness, comedones, blackheads, inhibition of sebum secretion, etc.●Injection treatments: botulinum toxin injections to remove crow's feet, nasolabial folds, forehead lines and other wrinkles, slim the face, improve axillary osmidrosis, etc.; skin booster injection treatment; scar injection treatment, etc.●Laser treatments: equipped with Q-switched lasers, carbon dioxide lasers, photorejuvenation, gold microneedling and other devices, for removing stretch marks, forehead lines and other wrinkles, tightening and rejuvenating the skin, repairing depressed scars such as acne pits, and improving pigmentary disorders such as melasma, freckles, nevus of Ota, café-au-lait spots, and various pigmented nevi.●Minor skin surgery: excision of superficial masses (pigmented nevi, sebaceous cysts, epidermoid cysts, lipomas, calcifying epitheliomas, etc.), skin biopsy for pathological examination.
