The Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Endoscopy of Guangdong Provincial Women and Children’s Hospital is a clinical department integrating medical care, teaching, and scientific research. It comprises multiple functional units, including an inpatient department, outpatient services, a pediatric gastrointestinal endoscopy room, a pediatric gastrointestinal motility room, and others. Its overall diagnostic and treatment capabilities are at the forefront of the pediatric gastroenterology field in China. The specialty currently has 12 physicians, including 3 chief physicians, 1 deputy chief physician, and 8 attending physicians; 5 of them hold master’s degrees. The Lactose Intolerance Specialty Clinic is a specialized outpatient clinic focused on the diagnosis and treatment of lactose intolerance in children and related digestive system diseases.
