The Department of Internal Medicine of Guangdong Women and Children’s Hospital is the chairing institution of the Branch of Medical Diseases Complicating Pregnancy of the Guangdong Women and Children’s Health Association.

Our department has a well-balanced staffing structure, including 6 chief physicians, 6 associate chief physicians, 5 doctors with doctoral degrees, and 20 with master’s degrees. The department is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment, including various rescue and patient-transfer vehicles, 2 imported specialized ventilators of various types, blood purification equipment, a bedside blood-gas analyzer, multiparameter monitors, a pulmonary function testing device, an electronic bronchoscope, electronic gastroscopes and colonoscopes, remote blood glucose testing equipment, and other equipment.
