The Department of Anesthesiology was established in 1987. Doctors Fu Jiemei and Shi Jinhua served as the department’s first and second directors, respectively. The Department of Anesthesiology gradually got on track and became an independent second-level clinical department. The current director of the Department of Anesthesiology is Dr. Dong Xichen, and the head nurse is Li Xiaohong. The department currently has 31 staff members, including 12 doctors and 20 nurses. It provides clinical anesthesia, emergency care, anesthesia assessment, pain outpatient services, and other services.
