Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Outpatient Department

To bring high-quality hospital medical resources to the community, make nearby care easier, extend our distinctive TCM techniques to more patients and ease access difficulties, our hospital established the Second TCM Outpatient Department of Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, on Baizhifang East Street in Xicheng District in 2005. It was welcomed by patients. In 2017 it suspended operations because of Xicheng administrative planning. In June 2019 it moved to the first and second floors, east side, of Building 1, Compound 26, Huangsi Street, Xicheng District. Dozens of renowned TCM experts from more than 14 key and distinctive departments, including oncology, endocrinology, spleen and stomach, acupuncture, psychology, gynecology, pediatrics and general medicine, provide residents with professional, high-quality services. After more than a year of improvement it was praised by local subdistricts and patients. Under the unified guidance of the Xicheng District Health Commission and Medical Security Bureau, we will continue using TCM’s advantages, meet residents’ medical needs and contribute to a healthy, beautiful Xicheng. Auxiliary departments: decoction-piece dispensing room, decoction room, prepared-medicine pharmacy, electrocardiography room, B-ultrasound room, laboratory and others.
