Guang'anmen Hospital's Endoscopy Center was established in 2015 and is a comprehensive department integrating endoscopic examinations, diagnosis, treatment, scientific research, and teaching. The department is fully staffed, has strong technical capabilities, and is equipped with advanced, comprehensive equipment. It possesses the complete range of high-end OLYMPUS-290 endoscopes (H290 and HQ290 gastrointestinal endoscopes, magnifying gastrointestinal endoscopes, a transnasal ultrathin gastroscope, an endoscopic ultrasound system, a duodenoscope, therapeutic endoscopes, bronchoscopes, etc.), an ANHON magnetic-controlled capsule endoscopy main unit, a Cellvizio confocal laser microendoscope, and the ERBE HybridKnife. The Endoscopy Center has 3 Mair endoscope cleaning workstations and is equipped with an RFID data traceability system to ensure the safety of endoscope cleaning and disinfection and examinations; it uses an advanced Medicon system for image-and-text reports of endoscopic examinations and teaching, providing technical support and assurance for the standardization and appropriateness of image-and-text reports for endoscopic diagnosis and treatment, as well as for teaching.
