The Department of Pediatrics of Guang'anmen Hospital was established in the late 1970s and has a history of more than 40 years. It currently has an outpatient volume of 6,000–8,000 visits per month, with 11 doctors providing outpatient services, most of whom are experts or senior experts. The department currently has 3 chief physicians, 4 deputy chief physicians, and 4 attending physicians. Among them, 1 is a doctoral postgraduate supervisor and 2 are master's postgraduate supervisors. As the primary responsible institution, the department undertakes national-level scientific research projects and Beijing municipal projects, and is also responsible for teaching pediatrics and clinical instruction for master's postgraduate students at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
