Honglou Outpatient Department
Honglou Outpatient Department is located within the Honglou campus of Dongguan People's Hospital and was officially put into service on 21 April 2011. The outpatient building is three storeys high, with a total construction area of about 22,200 square meters. It has advanced facilities, a well-planned layout, a pleasant environment and spacious, comfortable surroundings. The Honglou campus of Dongguan People's Hospital has been planned and laid out using the newest international spine-type “hospital street” design concept, and the Honglou outpatient building is one of the important components of the main building complex. It stands at the front of the main building group, facing the main gate of the campus, and is connected to the medical technology building and the inpatient building by a wide hospital street, and to the medical campus by a ring road, thereby integrating outpatient care, examinations and hospitalization.
Honglou Outpatient Department is a large, modern, comprehensive outpatient department that is functional, people-centred and intelligent. It brings together emergency care, specialist and expert outpatient clinics of all disciplines, disease diagnosis and treatment centres, TCM physiotherapy, pregnancy check-ups, postpartum rehabilitation, child health care, health education, a customer service centre, a medical insurance centre, an integrated self-service centre for registration and payment, and medical services for sudden and epidemic diseases. It delivers “one-stop” outpatient services, with more than 7,600 outpatient and emergency visits per day.
Honglou Outpatient Department follows the service tenet of “convenient diagnosis and treatment, public satisfaction, patients' trust”, upholds the hospital's guiding purpose of “medical staff united in heart, caring for the community” and the hospital motto of “unremitting self-improvement, benevolence, breadth and refinement”. It strictly applies a management mechanism that takes observance of laws and regulations as its foundation, implementation of the core medical systems as its standard, the application of rules and regulations as its means, the improvement of medical quality as its goal, and public satisfaction as its requirement. Relying on advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment and technology and on highly qualified medical personnel as a strong backing, it provides high-quality, safe and satisfactory services to the general public.
Honglou Outpatient Department highlights two distinctive services. First, with specialist and expert outpatient diagnosis and treatment across all disciplines as its focus, it has a medical team of more than 1,000 renowned expert physicians and professors who have rich clinical experience, excellent medical skills and high professional ethics, and who are discipline leaders, department directors, and holders of vice-senior (associate chief) professional titles or above; the team basically covers the diagnosis and treatment needs of all categories of disease and provides patients with first-class professional medical services. Second, based on whole-process diagnostic information management services, it adopts an advanced medical card information management system and applies intelligent management to the entire course of care, including registration, diagnosis, laboratory tests, prescribing and dispensing of medicines, and related diagnosis and treatment. Diagnostic information is transmitted rapidly, accurately and reliably, effectively optimizing care procedures, ensuring the quality of care, shortening the time patients spend on care, and comprehensively raising the level of service.
