International Medical Ward
The International Medical Department of the Health Management Medicine Center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University was established in August 2019. In March 2022, it was integrated with the Health Examination Center to form the Health Management Medicine Center. It is a newly established department created through the re-planning of the former VIP Ward 1. It is dedicated to serving leading officials at the department/bureau level and above, renowned entrepreneurs, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and foreign nationals. It provides high-quality medical services and health protection for high-end individuals and is a high-end comprehensive inpatient ward integrating medical care, research, and education, with general practice as its distinctive feature and health management as its guiding principle.
The overall layout of the ward was uniformly planned and designed by a renowned Japanese designer. The environment is clean and welcoming, and the facilities are elegant and practical. There are two public lounges, attractively arranged with greenery and sofas, making them ideal places for meeting guests, chatting, reading, and relaxing. The view outside the windows is beautiful, and a sweeping glance reveals the vast sea. The ward includes suites, single rooms, double rooms, and triple rooms to meet the healthcare needs of different patients. Rooms are equipped with bathrooms, water heaters, refrigerators, televisions, sofas, wardrobes, safes, and disposable toiletries.
The department has a total of 9 doctors, including 3 professors, 6 doctors with doctoral degrees, and 3 doctors with master’s degrees. The doctors come from the departments of Respiratory Medicine, Neurology, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine, and all have many years of clinical diagnosis and treatment experience. Since its establishment, the department has treated more than 4,000 patients, including more than 700 critically ill patients, and has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex and difficult diseases and rescuing critically ill patients.
