Infectious Diseases Ward

The Infectious Diseases Department of the Second Hospital of Dalian was developed from the infectious disease department and includes an infectious disease ward, a hepatitis clinic, a specialized digestive and liver disease clinic, an intestinal disease clinic, and a fever clinic. It has become a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment center integrating medical care, teaching, and research, with distinctive expertise in artificial liver, blood purification, interventional, and endoscopic therapies. Its specialty services rank at an advanced national level and a leading level in Liaoning Province. It is the National Demonstration Base for Hepatobiliary Disease Prevention and Treatment Technology, the National Training Base for Anti-infective Drug Use, a member institution of the China Fatty Liver Clinical Research Collaborative Group, the National Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Center for Fatty Liver, the National Demonstration Center for Artificial Liver and Blood Purification Technology, a Liaoning Provincial Key Clinical Specialty Construction Project, and the Liaoning Provincial Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of End-Stage Liver Disease.
