Neurology Department 1

The First Neurology Department of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University, founded in 2013, has 50 open beds and 25 staff. It specializes in cerebrovascular disease and neurointervention, treating ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, venous thrombosis, aneurysm, malformations, stenosis, dissection and other vascular disorders. Since 2001 it has performed thrombolysis, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy and embolization; a 24/7 green channel supports rapid stroke care. It also runs a headache clinic and conducts national and provincial research and education.
