Puwan Campus Health Management Center
The Health Management Medical Center of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University was established in May 2004. After nearly 20 years of dedicated hard work by all medical and nursing staff, the center has rapidly developed and expanded. In 2022, in response to the requirements of the hospital's high-quality development, the Health Management Center, the Health Management Center of the Diamond Bay Campus, and the International Medical Department jointly formed the Health Management Medical Center, creating a first-class health management medical center in the province and a nationally renowned center integrating medical care, teaching, scientific research, and prevention. The center currently has 110 staff members, including 44 physicians; all physicians hold a master's degree or higher, including 9 physicians with doctoral degrees. There are 15 holders of senior professional titles, 1 doctoral supervisor, and 6 master's supervisors. It is currently an institution serving as vice chair of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics and an affiliated institution of the Dalian Health Examination Quality Control Center. It has ranked first in Dalian for health management specialty reputation in the Fudan version for 5 consecutive years.
The center is committed to building cancer early-screening management pathways and a chronic disease management system suited to health-examination populations, forming closed-loop, whole-process health management spanning pre-examination assessment, health examination, and post-examination intervention. Relying on its strong disciplinary foundation, the Health Management Center of the Puwan Campus of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University is about to set sail. Upholding the department's development philosophy of conducting health examinations with craftsmanship and honoring the future with perseverance, it serves the broad population of northern Dalian. The center has modern, intelligent management methods and internationally advanced medical equipment, creating a first-class care environment for patients. The center has achieved seamless integration with the hospital's HIS, LIS, PACS, and MUSE systems, greatly improving the quality of medical care and service. It has also introduced a full-process intelligent examination guidance system, enabling examinees to complete their health examinations through the most reasonable process in the shortest time.
