Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Urology Department
The Department of Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Urological Surgery has always upheld the spirit of surgery and is committed to curing every patient through the use of advanced technology, minimal trauma, optimal treatment outcomes, and compassionate care. It currently has 18 authorized beds, 5 doctors, 2 professors, 2 associate professors, 1 attending physician, 4 doctors with doctoral degrees, and 1 doctor with a master's degree. The department is fully staffed and equipped with advanced technology, including mainstream specialized urological equipment such as high-definition laparoscopes, flexible and rigid ureteroscopes, a dual-catheter lithotripsy system, an extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripter, a urological examination table, a high-power holmium laser, percutaneous nephroscopes, and plasma resectoscopes. The department has strong technical capabilities and can perform the vast majority of urological surgeries. Its minimally invasive treatment of urological diseases and urinary tract stones using laparoscopy has reached the mainstream technical level in China. Currently, it performs function-preserving laparoscopic radical prostatectomy/radical cystectomy, nephron-sparing surgery for complex renal tumors under laparoscopy, totally endoscopic single-position unilateral urinary tract resection, visualized percutaneous nephrolithotomy, combined multi-endoscopic treatment of complex upper urinary tract stones, balloon-dilation minimally invasive treatment of urinary system strictures, and other procedures. These new technologies have all reached the level of leading hospitals in China. The department attaches great importance to the introduction and promotion of technology, carries out extensive technical cooperation with renowned medical centers in China, including those in Beijing and Shanghai, and works hard to improve its technical level. At the same time, it provides technical support to surrounding areas such as Jinzhou New Area, Zhuanghe, Pulandian, and Wafangdian, enabling more patients to benefit from advances in medical technology.
