The Chest Pain Center of Shanghai DeltaHealth Cardiovascular Hospital relies on a multidisciplinary collaboration model (covering the emergency medical services system, the Emergency Department, the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, the Department of Cardiac and Great Vascular Surgery, the Imaging Department, and others) to establish standardized treatment procedures and a professional chest pain medical and nursing team for acute chest pain conditions such as aortic dissection and acute myocardial infarction. The center implements a “treatment first, payment later” mechanism for emergency patients, ensuring that the green channel remains open and unobstructed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
