Sleep Medicine Center

The Sleep Medicine Center is headed by Yang Xiaowen as Executive Director of the Department and consists of a team formed jointly with experts from multiple disciplines and team members holding International Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification and Certified Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) certification; with the certification system of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) as a reference, and in conjunction with the domestic sleep medicine landscape, it has joined forces with expert teams from General Practice, Otolaryngology, Neurology, Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiac and Great Vascular Surgery, Rehabilitation Medicine, Pediatrics, and other disciplines to establish a multidisciplinary, whole-life-cycle collaborative diagnosis and treatment model and formulate high-level, personalized, and precise diagnosis and treatment plans for patients.

In terms of equipment and personnel operation, the Sleep Medicine Center can provide diagnostic and treatment services for portable polysomnography from Level IV to Level I, and provide long-term sleep and whole-life-cycle health management plans based on multiple nighttime physiological indicators. Dr. Yang Xiaowen cooperates closely with the expert team of the Dynamic Biomedical Indicators Research Center at Beth Israel Deaconess: Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, United States. While establishing sleep medicine-related diagnostic and treatment pathways, the team successfully translated the provincial science and technology award project it obtained into the cardiopulmonary coupling CPC sleep analysis technology. This sleep monitoring diagnostic assessment can detect nighttime changes in diseases and related physiological and pathological markers at an earlier stage, thereby achieving the goal of early prevention, early diagnosis, and early treatment.
