The department is equipped with advanced medical equipment such as electronic gastroscopes, electronic colonoscopes and capsule endoscopes, which can carry out precise examination of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, colon and other sites and provide a strong basis for the diagnosis of diseases. At the same time, we also have professional endoscopic treatment equipment and can carry out minimally invasive procedures such as endoscopic hemostasis, polypectomy and foreign body removal, reducing patients' suffering and shortening recovery time. The Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery of Chongqing Haijiya Hospital is a department integrating medical care, teaching and research; it is one of the hospital's key departments and is a key clinical specialty of the Chongqing High-tech Zone. The department has advanced treatment equipment such as the STORZ high-definition laparoscope, the STORZ 3D laparoscope, a radiofrequency ablation treatment system, an intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion system, a colonic hydrotherapy system and a laser therapeutic apparatus. The department carries out a series of conventional and laparoscopic radical operations for gastric cancer and colorectal cancer, laparoscopic abdominal wall hernia repair, laparoscopic appendectomy, surgery for various intestinal obstructions and for various types of hemorrhoids, anal fistula and anal fissure, and comprehensive treatment of various intestinal fistulas, and has accumulated rich clinical experience. At the same time, for advanced gastrointestinal cancer we also provide intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion therapy, radiofrequency, ultrasound and laser ablation therapy for local and metastatic lesions, and immunotherapy and targeted therapy for gastrointestinal cancer, achieving relatively good clinical results.
