Blood Purification Centre

The Department of Nephrology, Rheumatology and Immunology of Chongqing Hygeia Hospital was established in accordance with the specialty standards for nephrology and rheumatology of national tertiary Grade A hospitals, and comprises 4 functional units, namely, the outpatient clinic, ward, blood purification center, and chronic disease management. The department currently has 38 medical staff members, including 1 chief physician, 1 deputy chief physician, 3 attending physicians, 1 associate chief nurse, and 5 nurse supervisors. At present, the ward has 21 standard beds, and the blood purification center has 61 beds. The blood purification center has the strongest overall capabilities in the High-Tech Zone, is equipped with high-end purification equipment, and has an advanced Lauer water treatment system, an imported central fluid supply system, B. Braun hemodialysis machines, B. Braun hemodiafiltration machines, continuous blood purification machines (CRRT), ECG monitors, defibrillators, central oxygen supply equipment, multifunctional hospital beds, and other advanced instruments and equipment.
