Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery of Suzhou BenQ Hospital has first-class clinical medical personnel. The department team includes 9 physicians with doctoral or master's degrees. It mainly provides minimally invasive surgery for craniocerebral trauma and cerebral hemorrhage; microsurgical treatment of intracranial tumors and spinal and spinal cord disorders; minimally invasive interventional treatment of cerebrovascular diseases; treatment of neurological functional diseases; and multidisciplinary comprehensive management of severe neurological conditions. The Department of Neurosurgery has more than 40 beds in total (including 10 NICU beds). The outpatient department includes general outpatient, specialist outpatient, and VIP consultation areas.
【Main Diseases Treated by the Department】
1. Various complex traumas in neurosurgery: craniocerebral gunshot, blast, traffic-accident, crush, and fall injuries; various complex sequelae of craniocerebral trauma (secondary epilepsy, complex cerebrospinal fluid leakage, severe intracranial infection), etc. Good therapeutic results can be achieved using modern neurocritical care technology.
2. Neurological tumors: skull-base tumors, intracranial midline tumors, spinal and spinal cord tumors, etc. Using advanced technologies such as microscopes and neuroendoscopes, the above-mentioned various complex operations can be completed.
3. Intracranial vascular diseases: Various intracranial vascular diseases, including cerebral hemorrhage, intracranial aneurysms, intracranial hemangiomas, and vascular malformations, can all be definitively diagnosed through whole-brain angiography. Minimally invasive neurointerventional treatment is performed in the DSA and hybrid operating room to achieve the purpose of surgical treatment.
