After years of specialty development, the Department of Emergency Medicine at Suzhou BenQ Hospital has developed into a clinical department offering integrated care that encompasses prehospital emergency care, emergency care in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, and pediatrics, as well as emergency orthopedics, an emergency resuscitation room, an emergency operating room, an emergency ICU, an emergency observation ward, and other services. It is responsible for resuscitating critically ill patients in Suzhou High-Tech Zone and surrounding areas, and also for treating complex, critically ill patients referred by lower-level hospitals. The department occupies approximately 2800 square meters and is equipped with advanced resuscitation equipment, including multifunctional resuscitation beds, multifunctional monitors, ventilators, automated cardiopulmonary resuscitation machines, emergency CT, emergency DR, mobile X-ray machines, bedside color Doppler ultrasound machines, an emergency laboratory testing system, video laryngoscopes for tracheal intubation, defibrillators, gastric lavage machines, suction machines, and other advanced resuscitation equipment.
